The first offering from the new Chillbasement netlabel is the 4-track Monolith EP by the Danish downtempo duo Lauge & Baba Gnohm (Henrik Laugesen and Kalle Christensen). Formed in 2008, this production team has already released music on labels such as Soundmute, Blue Tunes, and Divine Balance as well as appearing on the free Tanmaurk and Amber: Gold Of The North compilations from Zealotry Music. This release explores the softer side of downtempo with an assortment of deep drifting tunes and frosty chill out music certain to soothe any soul.
